What we are, and what we are not
Istanbul European Clinic Medical Travel Services is a medical travel coordination company based in Beşiktaş, Istanbul. We connect people travelling for treatment with independent partner surgeons here, and we handle everything that sits around the operation.
We are not a clinic. We do not perform procedures, we do not employ the surgeons and we do not own the facilities where treatment happens. That distinction matters when something goes wrong, so we would rather be clear about it before you book than after.
Who is responsible for what
The surgeon owns every clinical decision: whether the procedure suits you, which technique to use, what happens in theatre and how your recovery is managed. They are qualified for that and we are not.
We own the logistics: matching your case to the right surgeon, arranging the dates, the hotel, the airport transfers and an interpreter who stays with you at appointments. If your flight moves or your hotel falls through, that is our problem to fix.

How we choose who you see
You describe what you are considering. We pass your case to the partner surgeons whose field it actually falls in, and they say whether it is something they would take on. If more than one is suitable, you choose. Their training, memberships and published work are on their profile so you can check rather than take our word for it.

Is Istanbul European Clinic a clinic?
No. Istanbul European Clinic Medical Travel Services is a medical travel coordination company. We do not perform procedures, we do not employ the surgeons and we do not own the facilities where treatment takes place. We arrange the consultation, the travel, the hotel, the transfers and an interpreter, and we stay reachable for everything that is not clinical.
Who performs the surgery?
An independent partner surgeon, at their own clinic or at an accredited hospital. They make every clinical decision and they are responsible for the outcome. You can see each surgeon, their training, their memberships and their published work on the partner surgeons page before you decide.
Is Istanbul European Clinic accredited?
A travel coordination company is not the kind of organisation that medical accreditation applies to. What can be checked is the individual surgeon: their specialist training, their professional memberships and the hospital where they operate. We list those per surgeon rather than making an accreditation claim for ourselves.
How much does treatment cost?
Each treatment page lists a starting price and, where we have it, what the same procedure costs at home. The figure you are quoted depends on what the surgeon finds when they review your case, so treat the published range as a starting point and ask for it in writing.
What if the surgeon says the procedure is not right for me?
We pass that on unchanged. It happens, and it is the most useful answer you can get before booking a flight. We do not look for a second surgeon who will say yes.
What languages do you work in?
We coordinate in English, Deutsch, Français, Italiano, Español, Română, Русский. An interpreter comes with you to appointments so nothing gets lost between you and the surgeon.
